Lemon Squeezer?

.32 Safety Hammerless 1st Model? (Lemon Sqeezer). SN 60188 made 1888-1902? Can anyone narrow down the manufacture date? Value in this condition?

Hoo boy, You are asking a hard question.

First off, S&W did not record manufacturing dates of
their firearms. All that was recorded was the sales/
shipping dates. This can be confusing because a revolver
may languish 'in stock' for many years before it is sold.
Of course, if it was in high demand at the time, it would
likely have been shipped soon after manufacture.

The only way to get sale/shipping info is to write the
S&W Historical Foundation and ask for a Letter. The
cost is $100 (it is cheaper if you join the S&W Collectors
Association and Historical Foundation).

Value can be difficult to determine from a photograph
(depending on the photos). I cannot tell (for sure) if your
revolver has been re-finished. IF the finish is the original
Factory finish, I would guesstimate $275 to $400.

From the s/n it would fall between 1888 and 1902. Yes, it is a 1st model. Judging from the pictures I would judge it to be in a "good" to possibly a "Very Good" condition. Depending on it's operation capability, (does it fully function?). Value might be i the $200 to $300 range.

Appears functional, great lockup and timing. Having a friend make me some light .32 s&w loads for me (he uses BP and casts .32 bullets). To me looks like it should be a good shooter. If all goes well with the custom loads will buy some commercial .32 S&W.
