The officer who did the assault deserves to be prosecuted (and I can't believe it's only a misdemeanor) but I'd like to make two other points. First, the officer assisting him didn't appear to me to try to stop the assault, but rather assisted in subduing the girl. Second, King County is going to pay dearly for the actions of its officers in the lawsuit that most certainly will come. Make that the tax payers of King County.
