I believe they do not discontinue any revolver models. They just halt the production run for a while then will re manufacturer it as the demand increases. I'm not sure if I'm correct or not.
I been saving up for a brand new s&w m29, 6 1/2" in nickel. I notice the nickel finish in no longer offered on the s&w site. I'm still saving while I'm bummed about it. The easiest one to get will be impossible to get brand new unshot.
