OK. I used the search feature but could not get it narrowed down enough... I just picked up a Nice Model 15-1 made in 62 per the serial number... There is the letter L stamped in the cylinder face. What does this represent?

Cool find! Please post some pics :)

The "L" denotes Left-Hand ejector rod threads, something that was implemented with the -1 engineering change. -1 guns are somewhat scarce....

Hard to take photos without natural light... sorry for all the bad photos but you get the idea... I put the stag grips on it after I purchased it. It did come with the matching numbered grips....

You know it really is in better shape that the pictures show... the Nickle is in nice shape. ( There are siginificantt refelctions in the pictures) I am planning on running some reloads through it this weekend and see how she does....

There was a thread about BBQ guns a while back that had some Nickle guns in it with Stag grips.... Made me want a nickle gun to throw some stags on the looked so good in the thread.... This is the first nice one at a good price ($400) that I came across since looking at that thread.. :)

Nice gun at a good price! If you want the nickel to shine better try some Flitz polish then follow with Renasance wax. You can even use the wax on the grips.
