I'm mostly a classical music guy, and a supporter of Minnesota Public Radio Classical, which is always on my stereo via the internet.

I just got this in my e-mail. It's a re-run of an older broadcast from 1994 by one of the radio hosts. Very moving.

Lynne Warfel

Editor's note: As we mark the anniversary of D-Day, classical host Lynne Warfel looks back on her visit to Normandy many years ago to see where her father, Norman "Bud" Warfel, served during World War II. This was first broadcast on MPR on Memorial Day 1994.
