Seriously? C'mon!

You mean, If I buy some ammo that is often atleast 2x more expensive then all other brands, and send them $3.95 shipping & handling, I can get a $10 spinning target? WOW!

Awesome deal!

Awesome, another good reason to buy quality/consistent ammo. I hope I saved my receipt for my last shipment.

I think CCI offers some great products, I have had several rifles and pistols that were reliable only with CCI Mini Mags, and thier "Standard Velocity" target ammunition is as good or better than target ammuntion costing four times as much. CCI Standard Velocity - $2.50 a box, Eley Tenex $10.00 a box....

I bought 400 rounds yesterday; time to dig through the trash can for my receipt.

As to their cost, Mini-Mags have been my first choice for the past 30 years. I've never owned a .22 firearm in which they didn't function flawlessly, and demonstrate above-average accuracy.

I have yet to own a .22lr firearm that didn't shoot Federal Bulk Pack 525 & 550 round boxes flawlessly.

I have a Sig Mosquito which is suppose to be KNOWN to have issues with ammo and feed problems, I bought a few hundred rounds of CCI Mini-Mag's when I bought my Sig Mosquito for this reason as CCI Mini-Mag's were suppose to be the "only" ammo that functioned properly in the pistol.

Before the Sig Mosquito my go-to round is/was the Federal Bulk Pack 525 & 550 round boxes, so I tried that ammo first with my Sig Mosquito to see if it would work or if I would indeed have problems as soo many had reported..

Well after 10 mag's I didn't have a single problem so I put the Mini-Mag's in the safe (where they still are to this day). Since then I have fired many thosands of rounds threw my Sig Mosquito all of which have been Federal Bulk Pack ammo and other then a few FTF's every now and again (which I rotate and fire again, the 2nd fire works every time) I have never had a single problem with it.

For less then 1/2 the price of the Mini-Mag's I can deal with a FTF from time to time. I'm sure even the Mini-Mag's will have a FTF from time to time, and just like the Federal Bulk Pack ammo, I'm sure rotating the round and firing again it works on the 2nd try.

I have no doubt that the CCI ammo is decent stuff, but worth atleast 2x the price? Nope!

Don't get me wrong, there is alot of **** (Why is C R A P a censored word?).22lr ammo out there, but I never understand why anyone buy's it because the Federal Bulk Pack ammo is the cheapest I've found, all of the '****' ammo out there costs more then the Federal Bulk Pack's so I'll never understood why people buy them!?!?

Just how I feel.

Well you know what they say about opinions :D

For the performance and reliability that I receive from CCI Mini mags when I shot my 15-22, I am more than happy to pay the extra price. You say it is twice the cost, but shooting this gun is twice the fun.:D

It's still cheaper than the rest of my ammo for my other guns ;)

Not going to argue that CCI is pricey but it definitely the most reliable 22 ammo out there. I say this because its the only ammo my *** ISSC M22 cycles

It's not just reliability we're talkin about, it's how well it groups. It's been shown over and over again that it groups better than cheap ammo. I wanna be able to shoot paintballs glued to cardboard at range. With Federals, hmph, it's kinda a ****-shoot. With CCI's, I'm the one who misses, not the ammo. If people think that CCI's are spendy, they must not shoot much in the way of real (larger caliber) firearms. It kills me whenever I break out the 5.56, 38special, mini 14, 30-06, heck, even my 12 guage seems spendy to shoot and it's pretty cheap compaired to the rest. I have no problem with people shootin sub-par ammo, but to say it's even in the same class as CCI is silly. Does cheap ammo pop every time? Mostly. Does it hit it's mark every time...no way. CCI's are much more reliable for accuracy and that's why I shoot, to shoot small, miss small.

I shoot a flip up / knock down steel target with my .22lr guns and with my 15-22 and Federal Bulk ammo I can hit the steel target at 50 yards every time. When I miss, I typically know it the second I pull the trigger. (My fault).

I don't need to shoot the head off a sewing needle at some super far range.

Especially with .22lr. I shoot .22lr for fun more then anything. I started reloading 9mm and .223 so that I could shoot more. I'm just not interested in spending a bunch of money on .22lr ammo.

That said, if I was getting unsatisfactory results with my inexpensive bulk packed ammo, then I would spend more to buy better ammo, but that's just not the case.

I spent like $5 a box for some wolf 'match' .22lr ammo one day because the range owner told me that the ammo could shoot the head off a needle, it was going to be noticably better then my Federal Bulk ammo, after shooting it, I was 100% dissapointed. Not only did I not even notice a difference, but it was dirty as hell.

Cheap Remington high speed ammo does this in my Marvel 1911 conversion kit. Marvel kits are not low end junk either.

CCI's are the best ammo I have ever found. Even the bulk pack Blazers are clean burning and accurate in my Ruger pistols or S&W revolvers.

federals have a problem in my remingtion not giong off
have the same problem in my pistol cci allways works

Last summer CCI had the same deal for an orange swinging gopher.

I bang away at soda cans and dirt clods with the cheaper bulk stuff and use CCI's for small game and small varmints so buying a couple more boxes of Mini Mags and sending in the coupon was a no-brainer. The little orange gopher has soaked up several hundred rounds and is still going strong!

The CCI's routinely cut group sizes in half in my 15-22 when compared to Federals or Winchesters. However, the Feds. are great plinking ammo. Several thousand so far with virtually no failures of any kind.

Yeah, that's different.

If you buy CCI or other "Premium" ammo for special use then the cost (assuming better performance/reliability) doesn't much matter. But to use a premium or ultra premium ammo as daily use ammo just doesn't make since...

I guess that depends on perspective. I never understood why some people drive $40K pickups back-and-forth to work or use $500K houses to keep the rain off their heads.

OTOH, spending a few hundred extra bucks on ammo each year doesn't cause me to lose sleep. ;)
