I am considering selling my S&W model 651 with a 2" barrel. It is in very good (98%+) condition, but no box or paperwork. I doubt if it has been fired more than 50-100 times. What would be a ballpark value for this revolver? Thanks in advance for any help.

Per the SCSW (Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson) 4th edition:
ANIB (as new in box) $850
Exc (excellent) $750
VG (very good) $550

GunBroker has only one successfully closed auction for a 2" 651.
Auction # 619206831 sold for $1900 (LNIB).

Another 2" 651 received a bid of 1676.66 but did not meet reserve (LNIB).

4" versions have sold from a low of $725 (no box and non-original grips) to $1150 (LNIB). A rough guess is that the average price is about on par with that quoted above for the SCSW 4th edition.
