Enjoyed watching the kids play over the last week or so and really impressed with the swing between major league composure and the exuberance and heartbreak only a 12 year old can feel.
With Florida playing Texas, who they lost to, in the U.S. championship later is just the glazing on the Krispy Kreme.
Venezuela is currently losing to a machine like Taipei on the international side.

Long time follower here. The LLWS is the crown jewel of sports entertainment.

Sportsmanship, superb coaching, savvy, disciplined players who play for team and town (like Todd Frazier).

the LLWS tournament was Mike Adkins' (shouldazagged) favorite time of the sports year. He so looked forward to it.

Been watching all tournament, disappointed couldn't watch the international game today because the local ABC affiliate decided we should watch the Panther's preseason game.

What a great game today! Both teams played their heart out. That's why the series is my favorite sport to watch.

I grew up just a couple miles away from the fields. A few people I know still volunteer at the stadium.

I played my little league all star games on what was the main field in the 70s but is the secondary field now I believe.

Watching what is going on there this time of year gives me optimism on what our society could be.

That game was the text book definition of "nerve wracking".

To see a team stay together while coming from behind so many times reminded me of why I'll spend time to watch. Something had to give and the team that showed most heart took home the win.
Hats off to Taipei, no reason that last play could have happened to anyone.

Umpired for over 30 years, everything up to college level, done many of these international tie breakers. Told my wife first team that can bunt twice successfully will win. In this case it only took one because 2nd forgot to cover. Great tournament, Florida had to come back several times.
