I don't see the point. For snakes, I've never had a problem with hitting the snake with whatever JHP I've had in the gun, when they were close enough to need killin'.
For an everyday CCW, still don't see the point. Settle on a reputable current-generation JHP that you're comfortable with and fill the dang gun full of 'em.
