Locating Powder

Does anyone know where powder is being found anywhere on the Internet? I'm trying to reload 40 S&W and 9mm at the moment and the compatible powder is all that I'm lacking. Any help would be appreciated!

Recob's Target shop just sold me #8 of IMR 700X. That should fit the bill for 9mm and .38, .40, .45acp

Dunno if they have more, do a search on google.

Here you go, IMR SR 7625, a powder that I can strongly recommend.

Pluses, it's extremely clean shooting, it's economical, and finally I believe that it has a smoother than typical pressure curve that results in less muzzle flip and a reduction in perceived recoil. I thought that my load of 5.4 grains with a 180 grain bullet was well into the Powder Puff category until I ran some across a chronograph and clocked the bullets at 960 fps. That is basically a duplicate of the Federal Champion range load that shoots a lot cleaner with less muzzle flip.

The only negative is that you won't be able to match the velocities that powders such as Longshot can produce, so if you are looking to punish your wrists and your pistols SR 7625 isn't the powder for you.

Natchez currently has the 1 lbs bottles in stock and their quantity limit for the 1 pounders is 10 bottles. However, prior experience with Natchez is they don't list the stock on hand, so if they only have 3 one pound bottles your quantity will get changed to reflect that when you try and place an order. If I order on the internet

IF I order powder off of the internet it will be a large enough order to justify the $30 Hazmat fee. Buying in quantity will alleviate that some.

Powder isn't a problem here. Since you can't find primers, nobody's buying any other reloading components...

You can buy most anything you want on GB, just figure you're going to pay at least twice whats normal plus hazmat and shipping. Irritating, hell yes, but a pound of powder lasts a long time, so when you figure the cost is spread over many months its no big deal. Obviously, the more you buy the cost per pound goes down. An 8# jug will average out around $30 per pound, I got 4# and that ended up a little over $42. That will last a couple of years, I just use it for 2 or 3 pistol calibers.

Guys, checkhttp://gunbot.com in their reloading section. You will find primers, powders, brass listed from various vendors. You have to be quick so make sure to have your cc ready. I have seen small rifle primers and Varget sell out within minutes after it is posted. I take it for granted that most people on here are aware of this site.
