Location, Location, Location,

I am a very private person and will not give a lot of personal info to strangers.

Also, more than likely I will never meet anyone on this sight so what's the point of giving personal details?

I felt like I was spilling the beans to put my state on my info.

If you were from NY would you want these guys to know? :D

I don't know how much brotherly love you'll find in the city these days :p. If it wasn't for our jobs, my girlfriend and I would be somewhere with more open land. I go to Reading once or twice a year for the outlets and to see a country music concert at the Santander Arena. We find the crowds a lot better than the Philly crowds when it comes to country concerts.

Come up this way,,,lots of of open land outside of Reading!;)
I did love the University and the people I worked with, the commute finally did me in! ;)

Sorry to kinda have taken this off topic,,, my apologies

Will some of you folks who don't list your location please tell me why not?

Sir,

I can't answer for those folks, but I'm curious about your location, since I lived in Hancock County for 49 years. I lived a few miles SW of McComb. Now I live next door to you in Putnam County(Pandora).

Regards,
Andy

I was thinking of removing my city and state from my profile. This way nobody will ever find out where I live...

Funny.

With that dry sense of humor I'll bet you make a great martini. I read that Gordon's is preferred.

I hear the OP on some, no location, no nuttin. I'll have to consult with the crystal ball team, but those unmarked locations maybe folks that drive Black Crown Vics or Escalades.

Another current theory is they are either drone pilots on break or folks living in a halfway house till a room in purgatory opens.

 errr how would you know if I put down the right location anyway:D

Thinking of changing my location to Red Herring, NC, just to keep you guys wondering. ;)

I put my location down just so people will feel sorry for me. :o

I started to use "God's Country".. but the the term is so over used and with all the "doubting Thomas" on the board.. many city boys and flatlanders just wouldn't understand!

You're about 130miles NNW of my location...
I'm listed as Cleveland, TN... but I don't live there!:D
I guess about the closest town would be Ocoee, TN...
Now, where the hell's that!??!
I know where it is, I just don't know how to get to it!

We made a little trip last summer to Etowah to ride a train, the on over to Mountain Rest, SC for a rafting trip.

Not a lot there, but pretty country.

I like living in Texas but dislike the Borderland. Had no real choice, the wife was still employed here and owned her home. I sold my home and moved in with her until she could retire last year. Now we're too old to move so make up the difference by travelling and spending time pursuing our interests. Not hiding my location on the forum has had positive benefits for me, several good gun buys, good deals on gun powder and some really beneficial medical advice. See no negative consequences.

If you went to Etowah for a train ride(Hiwassee River gorge) you were just north of Ocoee. And you passed the best whitewater in the South going to Mountain Rest, SC!

Shoot, no bus service here, no taxi service, it's called "Fly Over Country", even the relatives don't come around. Not much to see around here except for the windmills here and there. Most of the city slickers complain about the feed lot smells, so why bother?
