hello to everyone, I am in need of some help finding a long range rifle range to shoot my newly purchased Tikka t3 TAC a1 in 6.5 creedmoor. I live in eastern Wisconsin and would be willing to travel to a good range out to about 1000 yards. I have tried to contact the Winnequah gun club with no luck, does anyone know of a good range within a couple hundred miles without a membership, again I am willing to travel a bit. thank you for any help.

Shiocton has a public range, but it only goes out 500 Yrds. That is the only public semi-long range I know of.

Toledo/Sandusky Camp Perry: Military range only sometimes has open range.
Coshocton (East Central) Thunder Valley: Target butts at 600 & 1000 yards, Steel plates from 100 to 1 mile! Open to public, Daily fee (50 BMG on target butts only!)
McCarther (South East) Steel plates from 234 to 1085 yards, Open to public, Daily fee.
