Started watching this afternoon and it looks like it’s going to be a good season!;)
The sad part, this is the last season!:(

Looking forward to it. It’s always better for a show to wrap up while it’s still going strong, rather than petering out and getting weaker until people give up on it, as has happened to others.

I'm glad it looks good....

As much as I like the show, for a while the story got really incoherent and disjointed. I hope they don't start up that Hector business again. I do have a feeling that they are going to bust the casino big time and it seems Malachi is at the root of it. I hope Joseph comes out without a serious charge. I think his hiring Cady had really good intent. Of course there's plenty of time for a plot twist.

I also hope that Longmire and Henry get back to where they were as inseparable friends.

Watched the first couple of episodes last night. I’ll probably spread them out rather than binge.

Much better than last year. Maybe the show would still be going strong if not for last year.

Trying not to binge but it is tough going.

Looks like they are wrapping up all of the loose ends.

Been a good series IMHO.

Finished watching it, not going to throw any spoilers out! ;)
I am going to miss the series though

My wife and I decided to watch it tonight.......

Not incoherent anymore. Complicated but straightforward plot. Everybody is acting more like themselves but Walt still has it in for Jacob Nighthorse.
Very exciting with a lot of intrigue. With danger from Malachi, Chance Gilbert and their associates and a few bylines it keeps you on the edge of your seat.

We watched FOUR episodes before we could stop and can't wait to watch more.:)

I too, through sheer willpower and the fortunate confluence of a number of football games on TV this weekend, have resisted the siren call to binge-watch the final season. Wife and I have decided to parcel the episodes out slowly because they are the last there will ever be.

Good storylines so far!

And when's the last time you've seen a rifle chambered in .375 H&H play an important role in a TV show episode? Nice touch!

Well we weren't going to binge watch but that went out the window. Just finished. Really happy with how they handled season last. It will go on my rewatch list once we get into the dark ages of late Jan/early Feb.

Now on to "The Punisher".

:D

I'm late to the party, spent the last two weeks binge watching the prior 5 seasons. Really liked the first 2 but then found a few too many "oh come on!" moments in the following 3. I've watched the first 3 episodes of this season this weekend. Much more enjoyable. I'll watch 1 or 2 more tonight.

I still liked "Justified" better but "Longmire" comes up close in 2nd place of modern westerns.

Well, I finished the season.

All in all, a nice wrap-up. It gets a bit sappier toward the end in some ways than I usually like it, but it fits the narrative.

What still cracks me up is the cringe-worthy disdain for real-world legalities in shows like this. I know they’re basically fairy tales for grown-ups, but still. An LEO shoots and kills a guy, and because he has urgent business elsewhere he takes off and later calls a random civilian and hires him to drive out in his pick-up to fetch the body ... umm.. yeah.

Anyway, sad to see the show go, although the major story lines had indeed run their course and needed to be rolled up. Thankfully, Longmire keeps going in the books. After the cliffhanger ending of the latest novel, I sure hope Craig Johnson is careful when crossing the street, at least until he’s finished the next one ;)

I think I am through 6 episodes, but good tv has returned and I will take a couple of days of rest. I am happy with the final season so far. However, I do miss the lovely blonde who was chasing Walt.
