I just got this O-Light PL Mini Valkyrie 2 for my M&P 2.0 9C. I had a Streamlight TLR-7 on it, but, as much as I liked that light, I just couldn't operate/manipulate the switches on it with either hand without drastically altering my grip on the pistol. Partly due to my short, stubby fingers, and, partially due to the design of the light itself. No go for me either way. So, I decided to give this O-Light a try. So far, so good. I can easily operate it with either hand with no alteration to my grip. Both momentary and sustained positions. It's plenty bright without being too bright (600 lumens) to illuminate any large room (or dark alley). And a solid lock-up, adjustable, QD mount (extra accessories supplied for slightly different rail systems). It's a rechargeable light and comes with a charging cord only (USB type plug) on one end. The other end of the cord magnetically attaches to the bottom of the light. Pretty cool. I could go on, but, you get the gist of it. A nice choice if you happen to be looking for a light for your compact/sub-compact pistol(s).

actually I am [emoji4], you think that will hold a charge better than a light that takes replaceable batteries? seems the connector could stay connected until needed if you had a safe place with power...

I have that same light. It will hold it's charge for months. Probably longer, I don't know. I just put the charger on it every 2 or 3 months and it doesn't take long to complete the charge.

The charging cord can be used with a USB port (computer, or, if you have one in your vehicle), a 110vac wall plug, or, 12vdc auto plug (cigar lighter), as long as they are equipped with a USB port. The charging cord will turn red (see pic - bottom yellow arrow) when it's charging, and, turn green when it's fully charged. The magnetic connector can turn freely when attached to the light. It takes right around 60 min to fully charge. Also, the light itself is equipped with a small LED on the left side (see pic - top yellow arrow) that will turn red when the battery is getting low. I don't know, yet, how long the charge will last when the light is not in use, but, I'll take Bozz10mm's word for it. :D
