Looking for a specific type holster.

Hi all.

I am trying to find a holster for my father. He has a 2"bbl 686. I am looking for a well made leather holster with a thumb break that is reasonably priced. This holster will be an OWB type, and be used primarily around the house and yard. Black hills leather has a decent holster here:

And, all their holsters are 20% off right now. The problem is that I really think that a paddle holster would be best because he will be putting it on and taking it off frequently. The one pictured above is a belt slot type. Any ideas as to where I might find a leather paddle holster with a thumb break retention system? It will need to be concealable, but he will not be leaving the property with it.

I think you should ask him for his input (even if it's a gift).

Everybody has different tastes in holsters .

If you buy him one he doesn't like - what does he do then ?

dondavis3. He has already told me what he would like, and what he plans to use it for. He has very little knowledge about holsters, and this will be for around the house only. I am going with a paddle so he can take it off and put it on easily.
