Looking for date range on two guns

The nickel gun has the mushroom button on the extractor rod.
SN 153846
The other has been cerakoted by someone along the way. It isn't mine, so I did not pull the grips to compare serial numbers.
SN C59998.

Both are .38spc

M&P's in nearby serials to 153846 were shipping in the May 1911 time frame. Your cerakoted M&P was likely shipped in summer 1949.

The postwar revolver (M&P) is from 1949. The serial number is C59998 (you left out one digit).
