I hope I got this in the right category.

Could anyone tell me by the photos if these grips have been re-finished? I wonder because they look kind of dark to me. Any help would surely be appreciated....THANKS....CookE

Hard to say but the checkering on original finish grips are usually a lighter shade than the rest of the grip and the bottom of the grips seem rounded off a bit, not a crisp edge. I would venture a guess at refinished.

The pic's provided are not of the best quality for identification. Retake well focused pic's in natural light on a neutral background for showing more detail.

Your stocks are diamond magna but to date them it would require the ser# & ID as to K or N frame.

From what I see, it looks like they are well worn (rounded checkering & edges) but not abused. I would guess they have had many wipings with an oily rag. Gun oil on wood will darken it. The partial pic of the back shows dark shading turning a little lighter toward the center.

My guess is they came off a well used service gun. I would expect it to have 50% +/- finish from honest use.
