Looking for Model 15-4 information please

Hi All,

I am hoping some of you can help with this. I have a Model 15-4, hand ejector, adjustable sight, 4" barrel, S/N 77K3736 that is a 38 S&W Special CTG. There is no REG# that I can find. It is in very good condition and works well. I am attaching a few photos for view. Any information you could share on this would be very much appreciated.

I am showing 1979 as the year of manufacture, they generally came through with magna grips vs target grips from what I know.

Looking at the finish on your revolver it appears to be coated with some old dried oil. If that's all it is you should be able to clean it up very well with most any gun cleaning solvent like Hoppes on a soft cotton rag. See how that changes the appearance of the gun. Then you can look at a good quality wax for it.
