Looking for OWB holsters for M&P9 M2.0

Bare Arms Holsters

I just got a Kydex one from the above vendor. I have the 3.6 inch barrel. So far I like it just fine.

Got a Desantis "mini-scabbard for the .45 Shield and it works well. Holds the pistol in tight and has a tension screw to adjust for strength of hold.

TTgunleather, snap on owb is my favorite for my 2.0 9c with 4" barrel. I like it enough that I have one for my 1911 Commander, M&P 45, and 45 Shield. I prefer it because the spacing of my favorite jeans and it's belt loops is absolute garbage for a belt loop pancake holster and where I position the holster.

I did ask for an open bottom in the holster and he said it would be no problem!

Cool! Why do you like an open bottom? (That just doesn't sound right.....)

I would bet that most OWB holsters are open bottom. Why? Beats me. I have always used open bottom pancake holsters for EDC over the past 30+ years. Safariland, Bianchi, Galco, and a few others. I don't know if there's much, if any, advantage, or, disadvantage, between open or closed bottom OWB holsters or not. One advantage that I can think of for open bottom is if you happen to have the same model pistol but with different barrel lengths you could use the same holster for them (ie: 3" bbl 1911 and a 4" or longer bbl 1911).

Cook's and Vedder's are both closed bottom. Most custom leather ones are open bottom...I think.

I'm looking forward to seeing what that looks like. I did correspond with Bob Cook about the lack of a retention screw, and he said the fit is tight and able to withstand maneuvers, etc. Cook's has excellent customer service, and the two holsters I have from them are high quality.
