Where to find the cheapest priced S/W/ M/P 15-22 FDE Hi-Cap Mags ?

S&W would be your best bet for standard capacity 25 round mags.
If you want high capacity, like 50 or 100, check out BDM Black Dog Mag.
Don't perpetuate the hoplophobes ides. I was never issued any magazines less than 30 rounds, so that would be standard capacity in my book.

I was looking S/W M/P FDE 25 mags. not the Factory 10rd mags. 44mag.com has the S/W M/P 15-22 FDE for $29.99 and S/W M/P 15-22 black mags $16.00 . Brownells has same price for S/W black 25mags.

My 15-22 came with a 25Rd magazine, so that's standard capacity. As others have said above, terminology is important, make sure you try to get it right.

You can get them at some of the Smith-Wesson Forum sponsor sites. Look in the Classifieds thread at the top of this section, I've bought all of my FDE 25 Round magazines from them. MUCH better price than the other place.

Promag makes a 15-22 magazine, as does Plinker Tactical. Promag is a quality product whereas with PT you have a 50/50 chance of getting a piece of junk.

Black Dog makes a 50-round drum, as well.

I've found this not to be 100% accurate. My experiences with the Promag Hicap magazines for the 15-22 are that they begin to separate when fully loaded. It took about 4 or 5 times of firing the mags off to notice the spread though.

They are also a BI%&H to load past the first 10 rounds.

I've had 4 of the promags and for the cost and ruggedness, the extra 10 rounds wasn't attractive enough for me to keep them. I just bought 4 more 25 round S&W mags.

Lately my LGS has had them on the shelf in stock. I wish they had some 10 rounders though.

Just my experience with them.

I will say then, if the Promags are available, they are fine magazines too. They are HIGHER capacity than the standard 24 rounders, and shoot great. I've got 3 of those, 10 FDE 25 round OEM ones, and 5 10 rounders.

anyone know why it is so difficult to get FDE Mags ??? I live in UK, purchased the platform easily enough once paperwork and Licence etc was sorted. Spare FDE Mags Nightmare!!!!! even my dealer cant get them sent out. make matters worse my MOE FDE didn't even have one with it, it was stock black ONE. :-(
