Lost a buddy

My Weimaraner, Stormy developed a sudden spinal defect and lost control of his hindquarters. In a lot of pain, and getting worse. It was the last favor I could do for him, but that does not make it easier.

Very sorry to hear this. We went through it middle of December with our whippet Petra due to kidney failure. Always hurts and never gets easier, but the faithful love they give us makes it worth the pain to me.

My heart goes out to you , been there done that many times over the years . I knew someone would post that cartoon , I've gotten so I scroll past it so the tears don't flow . Many say " I'm not ready for another one " after they lose a fur baby , saying it's too soon . I'm not a member of that crowd , I need a furbaby to fill that spot in my heart asap . And there's plenty out there that need a home and a friend to share their love with . No matter what , just know you gave Stormy a loving home and someone for him to show his love to .

My wife and I offer our condolences. We currently have three running around the house and 4 in the garden. Our eldest is on borrowed time…
