About ten years ago, I had a Fallkniven locking folding pocket knife with the micarta handle. I carried it for a few years ago, then lost it. I searched for it all over, but it was lost.

A couple or three years ago, missing the Fallkniven knife, I bought another. It was fine, but not carried much because I feared losing it as well.

Well, to conclude this story, I bought a Roomba from I roBot a few years ago. The first time I ran it over my entire house, it went into my bedroom and under the chest of drawers, pushed out my Fallkniven orginal. I was stunned. But greatful, as the cost of the Roomba was close to the knife.

To extend the story, I carried the original knife but misplaced it (again) but a couple of weeks later I found it, again, in a storage box (junk) where, for some reason it was placed by me or my housekeepers.

You can't imagine the joy of when I found it. Now I have two identical Fallkniven FH9 (I think) knives. One is in my pocket, the other unsharpened is in my dresser. Seems like the original wanted to be found...twice.

Thank God for Fallkniven and Roomba.

I’m glad you found your knife, but I have to admit I didn’t know what a Fallkniven was so I looked it up. Turns out MrsB has some kitchen knives made by them. All I know is I’m not allowed to put them in the dishwasher.:(

My smallest Fallkniven is my U-2 folder. I gave my son and his wife a Blue Whale kitchen knife and he has A-1, S-1, and F-1 sheath knives. Fallkniven makes good stuff.

CaptB, be very careful with those knives or you will get cut! Your wife is correct: don't put good kitchen knives in the dishwasher.

What 's a Roomba? I thought it was an Argentine dance. Maybe that's a samba. :D

Seriously, are you referring to some sort of vacuum cleaner?

How is it one of your Fallkniven knives is unsharpened? They usually come VERY sharp.

Fallkniven knives are made in Sweden. My pair are the "Folding Hunter" models. They come very sharp. I meant unsharpened by me.
