I just looked around, Numerich, Brownells, Midway, and no one seems to have one.

It's not that small, any chance of finding it?

Other than that I'd call S&W.

Thats funny. I disassembled a 669 I just picked up, taking off the crappy pachy grips and when I went to re-install the backstrip, the hammer spring went boiyngngngng and I lost it. But, I just found it tonight. Look around again, you may find it.

Finding gun parts is too easy!

My other passion is horology, and finding those tiny watch parts is a *real* challenge. Imagine screws that you can't even see without magnification that gleefully leap from your tweezers into another dimension.

Called S&W they are out of stock, Is there another place that mite have it. Also looked around the garage floor, can't find the plunger. It's lost. Midway,Brownells, Gun parts,All of them are out of stock. Rich

This might be a long shot, but a guy at our local range uses this S&W warranty station for repairs. He says they're great people.

They claim to have all sorts of parts on their site but you'll probably have to contact them. Worth a try.

It is not LOST, it is in your garage. These things do not have legs, wings, or arms to crawl, run, or fly away ... even if it may seem so. I shot the recoil spring guide from a USGI M1 Carbine off into never-never land. Two months later I moved a tool box and the recoil spring guide had somehow crawled behind it.

Not lost, merely misplaced in the moment. If you seek, you will find.

I almost hate to post this. But check eBay "Smith and Wesson parts" I have lucked out on several obsolete parts. Be careful and read everything before you take this advise. Good luck.
