Lost spring retainer! Face Palm

Well it's just what it says. Lol! Just bought my first 1911. Go big or go home. I bought a new PC 1911 competition modle with the blue grips. While feild striping it, boing! Their went the recoil spring retainer. Hit the rafter and gone!i spent two hours looking for it with not a chance of finding it. I have a lot of **** in their right now including a couple boxes of mixed tools. I guess tomarrow I'll be calling Smith to see if I can get one sent to me. Anybody know how much one might cost?

Nah, just keep looking! Took me over a week to find the first one I did that with.

Just got off the phone with s&w. they said they would send one right out! No charge. I think that's pretty AWSOME. I have always heard that smith has great customer service, but this is the first time I've had to call them, and I have several firearms from smith. MP 15 OR, MP 15-22, sheild 9mm,MP pro 5" 9mm, and the PC 1911.
