Today's the day we should find out.

As I understand it, SB118, which would allow for concealed carry where allowed (so for example, not in schools etc), if you can legally own a firearm. No need for a license.

It was signed off by the legislature June 1st. Put on governor's desk June 4th.
The way I read the law, he has 10 days to veto or it becomes law; unless the Legislative Session ends before day 10. Then he has 20 days. The session ended June 10. So that means 20 days,...

well, today is the 21st day. No veto that I know of, yet.
Louisiana Veto and Override Prospects for Constitutional Carry

Our democrat governor said he would veto it.

Ugh. I am now seeing he did veto. Now it comes down to the veto session for the legislature. The bill passed originally with enough votes to override the veto, but Louisiana is infamous for political deals.
