Love S&W, but carry Colt?

I rotate my EDC all the time, a 638 goes everywhere in my tool bag ( desantis nemesis holster) but if it's strapped to my body it's probably my king cobra 3 " in Kramer scabbard. I can't really imagine something better.

One item to remember as Sam Colt was a salesmen not a designer and only produce design's other people came up with . He designed nothing . Colt company also owes more to his family members and the colt single action army came out after Sam Colt was gone some11 years before the single action army came along .

For Home Defense or on the Range its a S&W K, L or N frame revolver.

But daily carry is a Kimber K6xs lightweight two inch six shooter. BTW Colt Detective Special speedloaders work in it.

Well maybe I could be persuaded....

If not for the m&p pistol line I would not own a s&w product.
MY revolvers are a Dan Wesson brand from '76 to '80 We do have one s&w revolver , a 360J 357mag but the trigger pull was garbage . but even after a apex j frame kits was added its not better than a '90 taurus 85ss I have.

As much as I love the Smith and Wesson J frame, if I am not going to carry a gun I usually carry a Colt Cobra. The sights on the old model are much easier to see than the ramp sight of the post 73 shrouded ejector rod models.
