Nice find! Looks fairly pristine, except for the overly long grip screw, good luck with it!
 
Nice gun! I keep looking for one of those that is not priced sky high.
 
Yes, the gun is pristine, except for having just a trace of a cylinder ring. The overly long grip screw will need to be shortened-however, I already had those banana stocks and just put them on the gun to take the above pictures and, to try them on for fit.

I was wondering if the model 64 snubbie is a relatively scarce gun, since here in California, I haven't seen any except for the M64-2 I just found, pictured above?
 
I don't know if you could call it "rare" but there are a lot more 4" square butts than 2" round butts. I see more 3" versions than 2" as well.
 
Nice find, I carried one as an off-duty gun in the early 90's and I always liked it. I wish I could have bought it back when we transitioned to semi-autos.
