This year will bring my wife and I to 38 years - well behind many of you, but it still seems to raise an eyebrow or two in conversation with a lot of folks now days. I tend to make myself scarce when those conversations between friends and acquaintances take that predictable and typical turn towards "wife-bashing"....I know a good thing when I have it, and am nowhere's close to being the fool to jeopardize it!!!!! Yes, Dear - indeed.

We're working on #44 right now, next October. I love to tell people that I screwed up and married the RIGHT one the FIRST time!

I'm so blessed, and I love her more every single day.

33 years at the end of this month. I have been so blessed! Certainly don't deserve the good wife I was given! The sad part is the number of people around us to whom 33 years is so unusual.

We're celebrating the 50th Anniversary of our first date on Saturday, due in large part to a lack of initiative on her part.
