Lucky score.

Not only did I luck into one, but I lucked into two 686-4 pre lock 7 shots, I got a 2.5 inch and just picked up the 4 inch I found online today. Both in excellent shape. Just need to find the 6 inch haha.

Both of my 686-4s were what I would consider good scores also. The 2.5 inch came with combat stocks. The 4 inch with Rubber S&W Hogue. Both are round butt.

All of my -4 revolvers have been the best. I have a 586-4 with a rb, they made those for only a couple of years before the -5.

I really want a RB 686-4 6-shot, preferably with a 2.5" barrel (though I'd really like a 3" barrel, even if I had to swap them out) and I'd also like to swap the cylinder for an unfluted one.

I have a 4" 686-2, which was my dad's sheriff department duty gun.
