Is anyone aware of the date of manufacture of a M 38 Airweight Bodyguard with a serial number of "abaxxxx"?
The SCSW says a "J" prefix was started in 1969 and that a three letter prefix followed by a four digit number was used beginning in 1980. The table seems to say an "aba" prefix would have been used around 1981-2. Am I reading it correctly?
