Anybody have holster suggestions? New M&P 10mm Kydex and leather options appreciated.

I'm looking as well. Got one yesterday. 4.6" barrel.
I'll let you know if I find something.

Well, after looking online for an hour, I decided to check the huge box of holsters I have in the basement. This gun fits in an old Aker holster for my Glock 20, and quite nicely I might add. (Aker 171-A / G20).
Looks like I'm set for the time being with an IWB as well as an OWB holster for the new toy.

ANR holsters (kydex) in New Hampshire ….have some quick ship (1-3days) and custom options 2-3 week lead times for the 45/10mm

So...does the M&P Compact 10mm fit in ALL holsters designed for the Glock G20?

Hmmm...does this suggest that the M&P Compact 10mm fits in ALL holster-makers' Glock 20-designed holsters? If true, that dramatically expands the list of holsters (and holster makers) that are candidates for my M&P Compact 10mm 4".

This is important knowledge (to me, at least) since the M&P Compact 10mm is still a relatively recently-launched gun - with the consequence that many holster makers aren't yet "advertising" holsters to fit the M&P Compact 10mm.

Possibly leather holsters… but not kydex I have a lot of pistols and at least one iwb and one owb kydex for each….I tried the m&p10 in every variant of Glock sig hk Springfield and cz holster I have none fit to where I would feel confident leaving the house….in the kydex Glock 20/21 it was way too loose and wobbled around the Glock 20/21 is substantially wider at the top of the slide and frame…but surprise surprise it fit perfectly in m&p9mm holsters of the correct barrel length or in the case of short open end the 10mm muzzle stuck out past ..4.6” 10mm stuck out .6” they slide in smoothly and clicked in and drew just as the 9mm does…obviously however the 10mm mags will not fit in a 9mm holder…they will fit perfectly into a s&w .45 mag holder though

Which brings up another question. Will a 4" 10mm (M&P Compact) fit into a holster made for a 4" M&P .45 ACP Compact?

The Lizzard

I can only confirm that all my 2.0 pistols fit in the same holsters of the same length or longer than the pistol length unless the holster is open ended ..as in 4.6”10mm fits in but sticks out a little from 4”9mm all calibers 9mm, 40sw, 10mm .45 fit and click into my kydex

Got the "We The People Holsters" yesterday. The 10mm fits like a glove. I changed the belt clip to allow a good amount of cant, as I IWB around 3:30-4:00.

Only wore it around the house for a bit. It's comfortable as I expected.

I did order the "Delta Wing" from Eclipse Holsters to see if I can fit it onto this holster. Would like the grip to press a little more firmly into my side to assure no printing if just wearing a baggy T shirt over it.
Delta Wing with Hardware - Eclipse Holsters

I'll update as I carry this setup more.

I find the concept of a 4" 10mm being called a compact as chuckle-worthy. 3rd gen FULL sized pistols are 4". Glock model 20 10mm 4" is full sized as well.

3.25-3.5 is compact.

Actually the glock 20 has a 4.61” barrel….the Glock 29 is branded by Glock as subcompact and has a 3.78” barrel

not 10mm but the Glock 19/23/32 etc are branded by Glock as compact and have a 4.02” barrel

I have numerous 3.9-4.0" pistols, and holding a Sig P229 in your hand does not feel like a compact. A Glock 26/27 or a Smith 6906 is a compact, and a tiny 3.0-3.1" is a sub-compact, like my KelTec P-11 or Taurus G2C.

I stand by 4" isn't "compact" For how many decades was a 4" revolver a standard duty sidearm? And the concealed was a 3" or snub-nosed.

just made-up descriptors, but honestly, look at a '72 full-sized Caddy, and a 2022 full sized Caddy..... lots of marketing bs not based on reality. don't get me started on mid-sized.......... I know what a Chrysler 300 really is.

Yeah but...., a 4" revolver is a whole cylinder longer than a 4" semi.

If looking for a chest holster, I have purchased a couple from Hosking. So far so good for both a 1911 10mm and new M&P 10mm PC.. if you get the holster cut for an RMR, it will work with/with out the red dot.
