Is anyone aware of a current source for 12 round. 22lr, M&P
magazines. Walther and/or S&W must have farmed out the
contract for the mfg of these mags to an obscure entity on
another planet. If so the high price and scarcity of these mags
could be explained in part by the transportation cost, which will
be further exacerbated by the termination of our space program,
and reliance on our "close" Russian friend's shuttle delivery service.

Aside from the levity of the above. I really
would like to locate a source if anyone could help me out.
Have a super day........all!

Also Regulator if you have any 10 round mags they are easily and simply converted to 12 round by removing the plastic block inside the magazine at the base of the spring. I've done this to two and have had zero problems.

Right, no problems for me either. Cheap way for S&W to produce 10 rd mags for states requiring them. Here's a video showing how to do it:

That thread is titled "Passing along the savings." However, in the first post of that thread it was stated that the M&P 22 mags were not part of the sale.

I just talk to s&w cs today sent my mp 22 mag in at the begining of july still no mag. Ken from cs said they had 20,000 orderd ,he could not tell me when they would be in . For my long wait he said he would send 2 out to me which was nice but at this point i would just take the one. He said they get shipped from germany and might be held up in customs ..........ok........ Just passing on the info i was given by s&w cs. Lets hope some mags hit the shelves soon.

I ordered mine from "Cheaper Than Dirt". They were around $24.00 plus shipping. They arrived in 4 days. When I ordered my 4 they were in stock, but I see now, they are out of stock. They do have the 10 round mags in stock for the same price, and you can take out the plastic stop as stated in an earlier post. Check your state laws!!!

Thanks for the feedback on the magazines. No shortage of
information around here. Much appreciated.
