Hi there & welcome to the forum.

One of the best things about the 15-22 is the wide range of different AR-15 accessories that will readily fit it. For a taste of the kind of things we're hanging off of our rifles, the dedicated 15-22 picture thread is a good place to start.

Personally, I can't really recommend anything more so than if I see fit to have it on my own gun (reasonable budget considerations taken into account!). So for me, the answers would be:

Red dot: Vortex SPARC (money no object, 1.5x Trijicon ACOG!)

Front grip: Magpul AFG2; Magpul RVG for close-in shooting (targets 10-15 metres)

Sling: Gear Sector GS-2P (2-point), on a Gear Sector rail mounted QD sling swivel and Midwest Industries MCTAR QD swivel adaptor for the buffer tube (mine is not the MOE 15-22, so needed to add a rear sling mount).

Have fun!

Do some research. There are a ton of forums with really good ideas and examples...

Accessorizing for firearms is just like customizing for a car. There is a ton of stuff out there you can throw on, but it doesn't necessarily make it cool, tactical, etc... Then again, to each their own. If it's something YOU like and YOU think it looks good or serves it's purpose for YOU, then that's all that matters.

Just a few vendors to get you started:
Red Dot/holographic sight: Primary Arms, Aimpoint, EOTech
Front grip: Gear Sector, ProMag, GMG, Daniel Defense
Sling: Magpul, Blackhawk, Giles

I just got the Huskey Amentum Slider Sling from Ares Armor. Kind of pricey, but I'm really enjoying the sling and Ares Armor's customer service was terrific. Long story short, USPS delivered a torn open package to my door with nothing inside. When I complained to the postal service the just said, "not our problem." Called up Ares to see if they could do anything to help me out, and they were very nice and very accomodating. Love the sling.

Let give him some pics for ideas. Ive got 200.00 invested into mine and its fully decked out i did some smart shoppin to do that but it saved me money for the most important stuff lots of ammo. good luck happy shootin welcome aboard:D:D:D

You can get slings cheap anywhere. I got mine from Ebay. Front grips, same thing. The red dot I'd say Primary Arms. If you do however buy from Ebay, you gotta watch that you're not getting a knock off brand. There are plenty out there and some are pretty close to the real deal. If you're not looking for the "battle" quality, then the knock off brands are fine. I got about 300 invested into mine, and I just bought a scope for precision shooting. So totaling that up, I got 400.

1.Red Dot/holographic sight
Depends on what you want to use it for, plinking, speed steel, zombies, target, hunting, whatever. I like C-Mores for competition and TruGlos dual red/green for just shooting around.

2.Front grip
I used the angled Magpul and it works very well on the stock foregrip. For a better setup get the removal tool and put a different AR full float tube on the front. I use the Nordic 1.62 in. .22 conversion modular alloy tube. About 13" long. The longer the tube you can put on the faster you can shoot in competition due to the leverage of gripping it right near the end.

3.Sling
Depends on how serious you are. I just picked up a cheap covered bunge type single point off Sportsman's Guide for about $14. I don't use it much and the competitions I use my rifle in don't use a sling (even in rimfire multi-gun).

Depends on what you're going to do with it. For slings, I'm partial to the Magpul MS3, due to the ease of transition in shooting side and changing from single point to two point.

For the money, primary arms red dots can't be beat. Magpul makes cheap inexpensive foregrips, and sling wise I am fond of my VTAC....but on my 15-22 i run a cheap uncle mikes.
