:)I have just contacted S&W in regards to my 15-22 and the ftf isssues as mine is a earlier model. The gentlemen I spoke with sent me a shipping label (prepaid) to ship my gun back to them for repair, no questions asked other than my serial #. That's the kind of customer service I expect and appreciate! You spend $500 or more in my case, you expect the merchant to stand behind their product, and S&W did just that! Kudos to S&W! Looking foward to getting my baby back! Gotta go, off to post office

Very nice to see they are taking care of you. I'm not surprised - I've read stories from others with the same customer service experience. Sorry you have problems with your 15-22.

You may not no this, but S&W has been sending free magazines to those that send their rifles back.
I don't want to get your hopes up, but you may get some freebies for your trouble :).

It's possible (to get a free mag), but I doubt it. I haven't heard of anyone getting one for a while now. I personally didn't get one when I sent my rifle back a couple months ago. Good luck though and let us know if you do!

I did. This month. I wasn't expecting it either. I had read they discontinued including mags with repairs. Big smile on my face when I opened the box. :D

might have something to do with what state you are in?

Nope, would be nice if certain states were a "for sure" free mag. But I live in Louisville, Ky. One of my friends( Josh) bought a 15 22 from a local shop, it was a DTX serial, and finally had to send it back a few months ago.( after nearly 10k rounds through it) Since then it works perfectly fine, as it should. He didnt recieve anything back from S&W except the gun itself. However, another one of our shooting buddies(Will) did recieve a spare mag with his return. Will got his rifle repaired last month, a full 2+ months after Josh got his back from S&W. Will's is also a DTX serial. But the good thing in all of this is, that I talked them BOTH into a 15 22 instead of the Colt Umarex, sheww close call lol.

If they are still doing it, thats bull that I didn't get one haha. If they are going to give a few customers preferential treatment we should all get free mags for our trouble!

Got one with mine....about a month ago. Of course, I never asked for one nor did I expect one. Most likely a good karma kind of thing. ;)

Next old lady I see, I'm carrying her across the road. Just for good measure.:D

I phoned in my ejector failure yesterday, and I was really impressed with the professionalism and attitude of the person on the other end. I gives me a good feeling about seeing it come back soon back soon. don't need another mag, but I sure wouldn't complain.
