Was the store trying to tell you that an FFL must be involved in this warranty process?But that did not help me at all, so I said just give it to me only to find out I could ship it but not have come back to me.
Unless there are some state restrictions on shipping firearms that apply to you, of course you can have it come back to you. I've had to send my 15-22 back to S&W three times, and all three times they emailed me a shipping label and I dropped it off at the FedEx store, and they shipped it back to me.
