In this economy, who isn't? Bah! Seriously though, I just bought the gun and I'm loving it. Problem is, the stock doesn't seem to want to slide. I press down the lever and it just doesn't move at all. Am I doing something wrong? Thanks for the help in advance.

Are you in a compliant state the requires the stock to be pinned?

LTC

well, unless you want to make your illegal, you're stuck. otherwise find where the stock is pinned and remove the pin. then get yourself a sweet aftermarket 6 position stock.

Thanks Mike! Just knowing I don't have a defective gun is enough for me...for now...

Did it come with a 10 round mag? (maybe sized as a 25 with a 10 round limit?)

Knock the pin out and the stock will telescope.

But that's illegal here in the great state of NY! They're afraid I'll go Bernie Goetz on the local squirrel population the next time they try to mug me. I haven't had a Payday in years. :(

Anyone know where I can acquire a 10 rd mag?

didn't your gun come with a compliant mag?

if your looking for extras, good luck. i would order from smith and then don't hold your breath for when they'll be shipped.:(

The gun came with an overly compliant mag. NY allows 10 rounds. They gave me a lousy five.

Side view. It doesn't even look like it has bullets in it, but trust me, it's loaded.

Lever closeup. That's as far down as she goes.

man, that's pretty weak. go to rrages.com to re-work your mags. they charged me 10 bucks to re-work and ship back. they also sell 10/25 mags for $28 shipped.

Go to eBay. There is a plug to make your mag hold 10 rounds, it's 5 bucks. Weird the didn't even put in the ambidextrous load assist button.

Living in the Peoples Republic of Massachusetts, I haven't bought one yet, so forgive the question. Does the mag come apart? It appears in your 2nd photo that the blue plastic follower has a "nib" on the bottom that is hitting the bottom of the side slot in the mag. May be just an optical delusion, but if that is the case, could you turn it upside down and get more rounds in or slice it off completely and really load it up?

Again, I have not seen the mag close up so this is only from looking at the photos. :D

Wow, first time I have ever seen a 5 round mag for this rifle. I could have sworn the state allowed the ten. Never seem to amaze me. Best of luck.
