Finally got one from woodbury outfitters for $399 with shipping to HI and fees to my FFL came out to $463, got her in 2 days. The cheapest i found here in HI was around $450 without flash hider and $510 with.Mine has the flash hider, the serial# starts with DUU it has the blue bolt spring so i hope its the latest one, never had the chance to fire her yet. Will let you guys know how it goes.

Congrats, and welcome. Glad you found a rifle, and was able to get it so quickly. Its SO much fun. I bought my 15 22 for my wife, as my both of my .223 caliber AR 15's kick too much for her, and are to loud. Well after the first range time with it, ..she has to get her own lol

Man, you guys get good deals. The MOE I want comes out to $560 at my local shop.

Well the MOE price here is about the same, that price i got online from woodbury outfitters with shipping and my FFL fee's came about $463. But you guys get better price on ammo and all different brands, bulk 22's go for $23 to $29

Ouch on the price man I think here I can get bulk 22s between $15-$18

Welcome to the family though!

I got my MOE version 15-22 for $520 here in Hawaii at Security Equipment. I also bought a couple of bulk packs of ammo the last time Young Guns had them on sale for $18.90 a brick.

I've got a question: I have a DTX****, would S&W replace the spring and any other upgrades if I called them, or do I need the bolt to blow out first? The first question of this post got me thinking about it since he mentioned it came with the blue spring.

Call them, tell them you dont feel safe using the current set up of the gun. Or you hear bad things about the gun, Im sure they would replace it if anything went "wrong" .I DONT condone this, but I have know people to call S&W say the rifle was acting differently than it should, etc. just to get the free springs, etc replaced to the "up to date specs".

Thanks for the advice. I've run about 500 rounds or so with no problems, but the more I read, the more paranoid I get.

Two out of three of the DT series, including mine, had no problems. Don't get paranoid. With no problems, just keep on shooting it.

Chuck when did you get your MOE? Could of swear when i went there it was $560 about a week ago, i could be wrong. But they do have great prices, bought blazer 525 bulk for $24 with taxes. Young guns kinda pricey, yea their sale of bulk still comes out $20+ with taxes, but i go there too cause it's closer for me.

Picked up my MOE mid September. Security Equipment is usually much cheaper than anywhere else here.
