I am looking for a quad rail to put in my piston driven M&P 15 sport and am having a difficult time finding one that fits.

I use the gun as an all around truck gun on a large ranch for coyotes so I want something affordable under $100.

Accessories I plan to add would include a flashlight, hand guard, and bipod.

I would appreciate and help or suggestions to help me narrow down my choices.

Thanks

You'll probably need to ask the manufacturer of the piston kit. They are all different. There is no set standard for conversion kits.

The best and simplest thing to do is put back the DI

As Arik stated your piston kit manufacturer should be able to give you a list of compatible rails. Additionally, you might need to increase your budget for a rail up to $200 or even $250 depending on the manufacturer. The sub-$100 rails tend to weigh in a bit heavier.

Magpul's MOE SL carbine length fits my PSX, snugly, but fits.... 34 bucks at Cabelas... Much more solid than the troy two pc quadrail...

Mlok fitment points ~ 15 bucks/attachment.

Not sure of your piston kit, you didn't mention a make. S&W uses Adams' Arms I believe.

Seems like it'd work.

I like mine. I put the Troy back until I get back to Cab's for more rail sections...

Another option (more expensive) is the Samson Evolution series, From what I have been able to find, their 7" evo will mount up to a piston gas block, and with the optional extension even surround it. Looks like it could work well...
