It depends... is it a mil-spec hummer, or civie market hummer?
I know a couple of people that would like to throw their H3's out of a helicopter.

I have em both and have been more then happy with em'.. Their both great rifles. 15t & m4v9

I would have to agree that in "most" cases, buying an off the shelf firearm is not an investment. But, there are exceptions.
I have bought several weapons from a retired LA Sherriff. One of the revolvers was 686 $175. and a colt 1991A1 for $200.
The list goes on and both were 95% and better. These are an investment based on today's pricings.
M&P 15T bought NIB November 2014. Paid $850. And then got a $100. From S&W. Investment, I think so!
