I just picked this up last weekend and since I opted for the quicker sale, I have a couple questions maybe someone can help me with.
1. When they talk about the "charging handle", why do they call it that?
Besides pulling the bolt back, does it do something else? (put a charge on my AmEx?)
2. I noticed my present cleaning setup does not fit. What do you use?

1. In my opinion, it sounds a lot better than cocking handle.

2. I use a one piece Dewey cleaning rod. It is used for all of my rifles, .22 through .30 caliber. I also use a guide that slides into the AR's chamber/receiver. This centers the cleaning rod on the bore. I use an AR chamber brush to clean the chamber and locking lugs.
