I was able to handle both today,

and the Full-Sized 9mm had the better trigger.

I'd choose the Compact for a carry gun, but really only need the M&P 2.0 for
a range and home defense gun.

Same role for a CZ P10-C.

The LE versions of the 2.0 comes with Nites, and 3 mags.

These two had standard sights.

My 2.0C9 arrived today. First thing I did was compare it to my Full Size 9 (1.0). Putting the 17 round magazine into the Compact gun (using the grip sleeves provided with the 2.0), I don't see much difference at all. Not sure why I would buy the current full size over the current Compact.

I don't know where y'all are finding all these 2.0 Compacts, none of my LGSs having gotten them yet.

Finding one in my safe (arrived yesterday) and will find two there by tomorrow afternoon.

:)

One in 9mm and another in 40?
Black and FDE?
The other one for the lil' lady?
Gonna dual-wield? :D

Can you post some pics? I have a full size and would like to get the 2.0 compact..still undecided.
Can you get a full grip wit the 15 rnd mag? I don’t like my pinky hanging or mag extensions.

The trigger on this is smoothing out nicely.

I'd expect the same for a 2.0 pistol.

My problem is whether to trade a .22 pistol or rifle for a
M&P 22 pistol.

Or a 2.0 FS in 9mm.

The M&P22 is actually made by Walther, but would be cheaper to shoot than
a 9mm.

I'd rather have a CZ .22 than the Ruger Take-Down 10-22.

Neat for carry, but just not my cup of tea.

A M&P 22 and a M&P 2.0 would be the eventual goals.

I wish they offered the 5 inch 2.0 in black, as I'm not really a fan of their
two-tone looking FDE.

Also, it's not like I have a need a new gun bug.

My LGS was/is all about the 2.0 compact. Hes a huge glock guy but when he heard these were coming out he was telling everyone about them. I had him put me on a list and I had it 3 days later.

Which 2.0 compact? Aren't there two now? Are we talking about the one the size of the original or the one with 15 rounds and the size of the G19?

The new one is the same size as the CZ P10C. In fact I carry the P10c and had carried the G19 for a decade prior to the CZ coming out.

Also, why have one gun for home and range and one for carrying? Can't the carry one do the same thing at home and at the range?

I believe we're discussing the 2.0 Compact that was introduced by S&W a couple weeks ago. As I understand it, there are actually 4 of them...2 in 9mm (with and without thumb safety) and 2 in .40. It appears S&W continues to offer the "original" compact which is a smaller pistol.

I think the 2.0 Compact could very well serve both needs (carry and HD/range). It comes with 15 round magazines and sleeves that permit using the 17 round magazines of a Full Size.
