Hi all,

I have an M&P 2.0 Compact in FDE whose rear sear housing pin likes to walk to right hand side. It consistently does so, whether under dry fire with or without a magazine and under live fire too. This does cause for some concern as I'm unsure if its normal.

That being said, I'd like to hear from others who own the 2.0 M&Ps to know if their rear pin does the same, or if mine is an anomaly. Or if I should shut and shoot the damn thing. Either works fine with me.

Chime in with your experiences!

Just applied some. Luckily I can only push the pin so far with a Glock tool with hand pressure, I honestly think it'll be just fine.

The rear pin on my 2.0 compact 3.6" shifts a little bit back and forth, but never protrudes from the frame. I've noticed this during live fire only. But I also have ran 500 round sessions through it, and it never moved outside of the frame either way. So, I'm confident it will get me through any encounter I may find myself in.

I have noticed the same issue with mine. Doesn't seem to walk itself out, just off center a bit. These are not roll pins; just round pins and as such they don't have a spring action that holds them in place under tension like a roll pin does.
