M&p 2.0 Compact?

Any idea when the 2.0 compact is coming out, i got a lemon of a sig i'm looking to replace and really want a 9c2.0. I am surprised they released a long slide version before the compact so i'm itching for this compact to hit stores.

My LGS has the 4.25 inch and 5 inch in stock here in PA.

Yeah the 2.0 full size and long slide is available everywhere, but i already have a 1.0 full size and it has been the most dependable gun i have ever owned and i've put it through hell. Love that thing

No idea if they'll even make one, haven't heard anything about it from S&W or elsewhere. I'm secretly hoping they make a midsize and a compact.

Heard yesterday on GunTalk from an S&W rep that all the other models will be phased in as they can. They will also apparently be selling 2.0s and still selling 1.0s for a while. I find the latter hard to believe but that is what he said.

Heard yesterday on GunTalk from an S&W rep that all the other models will be phased in as they can. They will also apparently be selling 2.0s and still selling 1.0s for a while. I find the latter hard to believe but that is what he said.

"as they can" What does that mean? Design wise they could have began production on the compact at the same time as the full size and be selling it right now so im a little confused with that answer

To me 'as they can' (my words) means they have two choices. 1-Redo every model they sell into a 2.0 and not release any of them until they have them all ready to go. Or 2- they can release several to begin w/ and then phase in the rest. Go to GunTalk podcast 1/29/17 part A to hear what I heard.
