I have removed the sear block on a couple of my M&P 1.0 guns (those had the roll pin so removal direction didn't seem to matter)

My new M&P 2.0 has a solid sear block pin so does anyone know if those are directional as far as removal direction is concerned?

You may find your answer at the Apex website in their tutorials.

Thanks, that was the first place that I looked before posting here. I just couldn't find anything on that 2.0 sear block pin removal direction.

There might be something on their web site & I just couldn't find it. (some of their tutorials seem well hidden.

If anyone finds it please post a link here

For future readers- The M&P 2.0 sear block pin comes out Right to left & goes in left to right (not sure it makes a lot of difference though)

the whole left to right thing doesn't seem to matter on most modern polymer guns. Glock, M&P, XD, they don't seem to have taper pins. It seems to me like they just under size the holes just a hair so the elasticity of the housing holds the pins. polymer flexes quite a bit without permanently stretching or deforming so its pretty easy for manufacturers to do.

still not a bad habit though...
