What was the going purchase price on these before the school shooting. The reason I'm asking is I'm thinking of getting one but have no clue what a decent price is. I do know that buying additional factory magazines for it is very difficult and expensive these days.
I bought a 15-22 last week and thought it would be fun to pair these two together as a fun range time setup.

I ordered mine a little over a year ago and had to wait 2 months for it. I didn't have a choice of vendor so I paid a little more than most people who were averaging around $399. I paid $419.

I purchased mine about a year ago for $360. This from my LGS that is not known for the best prices but a great selection. I have seen them since for as low as $299, but that was a while ago.

I just wish they would have came with 2 magazines. I cant find any magazines anywhere

^^ i agree, try living in NY and only having 2 months to find the ten rounders!

Bought it 3 days ago. $400, +2 10 round mags, $500 out the door...in NY.:D

I got mine from Bud's Police Supply in Sept 2012 for $310--at the time they also had stock of magazines and I got 2 for $48

Bud's has no stock on either right now and their non police supply side was asking 380 before they ran out of stock

It's a fun pistol to shoot

That's a good price. Cabela's was advertising them for $375 recently. I paid $379 +tax a month ago.

Some online shops are advertising in stock for around $340 but then you have to pay a FFL $25-$50 to do the transfer if you can find one willing to do it. Seems most LGS don't want to be bothered with transfers so they hike the price up to $100 or won't do it at all.

The beauty of living in a medium sized town in the south is my FFL charges me $10 to do a transfer and $20 plus shipping if I have him ship a gun for me.

Ouch... I paid $300 for mine and wouldn't have paid a dime more... It is not a bad piece, but nowhere near the quality of the FS counterparts...

I paid $369 for mine at a LGS about 3 weeks ago. Now, if I could only find ammo and a couple more mags. :(

Turners Outdoorsman, a sporting goods chain in Southern California periodically runs a sale on M&P 22's @ $369.95. Regular price is $399.95.

I couldn't tell you whether or not they have any in stock to sell now. I've been in a couple of their stores recently and haven't seen any in the display cases. Come to think of it, I haven't seen any centerfire M&P's there either.:(

I paid $340 about a month ago. I just wish I could find some magazines for the darn thing.

From a vendor at the Philadelphia Armory Gun Show: Cost $340, w/tax & Fees $370 out the door.

Thanks for the information as I just pulled the trigger for $356 with one magazine new in the box.

That's not a bad price, considering the "gun climate" nowadays. That's about what I paid for mine a few months back in November before the SHTF. For reference, I saw one at a gun show here in Fort Worth this past weekend and the asking price was $499...damn gougers. Problem now is finding .22LR ammo.
