M&P 22 SIGHTS , OPTIONS ?

I suggest an optic, red dot is my preference. You can machine the slide(expensive) or get a dovetail mounting base. Ever since I put my Burris Fastfire II on there I have never even considered going back. Target acquisition is faster on the draw, less strain on your eyes, and no having to align sights. Put the bead where you want it and pull the trigger. Not that expensive either. I got the mount and the sight for $275. And as you can see I have the 9c and even with the sight I still rock my Galco IWB. The red dot clears the holster all together. I get a pic up later of what it looks like when I'm wearing it. Get a sight, you'll thank yourself!

.22 is too weak for Red Dot if mounted on a slide..

I tried a few different brands and settled on Williams Fire Sights for the M&P22 . They are built like a tank, adjustable rear, fiber optic bright, and tall enough for use with a suppressor.

Red Dot sights work just fine on the M&P 22 with any HV ammo
Burris Fast Fire 2 with the Burris M&P mount
It also fits the Fobus SWCH and the Blackhawk Serpa holsters

They are not yet available. I've been calling there every few weeks for months and they keep telling me to call back in a month. Tried again last week.
Since I too, have been looking into this on mine, I called Williams and they called me back telling me that they are indeed available and have been since last year, EXCEPT for the M&P .22 compact... I called the gunsmith that i had been waiting on for 4 weeks and told them that I found them and I'll have them later this week and asked if they'd still put them on for the same price as before... :)

$50 for the fixed set is $20 cheaper than the Dawson's, any thoughts on quality issues? I'm looking to ditch my factory ones, I just don't like them at all.
