M&P 22 Threaded Barrel Adapter

I'm sure this has been discussed a long time ago, but is there a "best" or favorite type of threaded barrel adapter for the M&P 22 (NOT Compact)?

I'm specifically looking for one that would support the SilencerCo O-Ring engagement

From what I understand they do not use the same adapters at the M&P 22 Compact, but they do use the same as the Walther P22, is that correct?

Correct. The P22 adapter is the same. I like my Silencerco brand adapter. Has the o-ring engagement and includes the thread protector. Also have their brand adapter on my 1911-22.
