Lower the decocker. If there are 2 dots stamped in the frame, under the decocker, the recall work was done.

My TFE- prefixed 1076, per a Jinks letter, was a Chesterfield Va. PD gun. It looks just like yours but doesn't have the mag disconnect feature. The right side of the slide has the 'Will Still Fire' warning.

You might want to send in the $100.00 tariff to the S&W Historical Foundation for a letter, so you can find out where yours has been. With a TFE prefix, it's almost certainly an ex-L.E. gun.
