M&P 22c and Federal Lightning round nose ammo bulk pack

I have some Federal Lightning 22LR lead round nose bulk pack ammo I'd like to use. It's the non-copper plated type. Any ideas if this will work with the M&P 22c? I've mostly shot this ammo with my S&W 617 10-shot revolver. Any caveats on using this type of ammo other than with a revolver?

Shouldn't be a problem. It'll just gunk up your barrel faster than the copper-plated stuff.

Yeah, the non-copper plated ammo does get the barrel dirtier. I'll check in with my LGS today to see if I can get an M&P 22c.

I've had very bad results with some varieties of federal, good with other. What is the code on the end-flap of the box (usually a three digit # up in the corner)?
