I am considering buying a M&P .22.
From what I have read in this forum, they are very favorably received.
So what would be a reasonable/realistic price range?
thanx

I bought one last month for $345, which was on the lower side of what I have seen them going for locally. I also picked up some spare mags from grabagun.com (which is about the only place I found that has any in stock). I am still hoping someone (Tactical Solutions, Advantage Arms, etc.) comes out with a .22LR dedicated slide/barrel system. But I will still keep my M&P22 when and if that day comes.

Paid $380 out the door. Perfect trainer to go along with my M&P9 and you can shoot a bunch of cheap 22lr without hurting the pocketbook! Get it and you wont be dissapointed (except for the sights which don't match the 3 dot sights).

$385 at a Gun & Knife show. Great little weapon, but magazines are a bit hard to come by. Finally got two 12's from S&W. I'm shooting CCI Mini-Mags, but could probably get away with cheap Wally world stuff, but I hate feeding my pistols ****.
To own one is to love one.

Tell me I'm wrong, I do so want to be. What I see is just a juiced up Walther P22.

Not so, the M&P22 though made by Walther is a very high quality piece. The slide for example is fabricated from aircraft grade aluminum and is beautifully machined. I own both and the only similarity is the barrel which is sleeved and threaded. After shooting many troublefree rounds through it the M&P22 is now one of my favorites. It is heads and shoulders above the Walther P22.

Great Gun

So far I'm impressed with the build quallity. I looked at the Walther P-22 and it was way too small for my hands. I found 2 mags on Ebay, but it looks like I paid a little too much for them. oh well, live and learn!!!

Nice I haven't seen an OD green version before. I paid abuot $360 for mine.

OD Version

I don't think they make one, so, I did mine with Krylon OD Fusion. Despite what some say about it, it is a real tough finish.
The color matches my MP 22-15 version perfectly. I got my MP at a local shop for $360.

I paid $370 asking price for mine. After taxes and background check I was over $400. I am happy with it.

Yesterday a used one popped up for $320 on a local forum and I had to convince myself that I really had no use for 2 of them.
